Bridging the Gap Among Nations International Ministries began as a Godly intervention that later paved the path towards a well-developed vision In 2002. During that time, Sister Hill was preparing for a deployment to Afghanistan when an unexpected opportunity presented itself. Instead of a deployment into a hostile environment, she was redirected to Honduras in support of a humanitarian mission.
Upon her arrival and having a hunger to unite in worship with other believers, Sister Hill immediately establish a connection with the Chapel Service and within a short period of time became the Gospel Service Leader. Having a background knowledge of the Spanish language and an inner desire to embrace the rich diverse culture, it took little time for her to fit in and establish a spiritual bond with the Honduran faithful. By the grace of God, the spiritual bond open the doors that allow her to spread the gospel of Christ in a neighboring city not far from the military installation which she served. Fulfilling the will of God in her life, Sister Hill also visited orphanages providing the hope of a brighter future as God laid the foundation of a life-long ministry and strengthen the Christian bonds of fellowship that continues to grow until this day.
Although having received exposure and a number of opportunities to minister, it was not until 2003 when she returned to the United States that Sister Hill embraced the calling and vision of God in her life to be His servant in international mission work. Accepting this calling, she continued to receive and accept invitations to spread the gospel ministering to the Honduran faithful and introducing non-believers to the living God. Prior to her third trip to Central America, Sister Hill being lead of God brought together believers of diverse Christian experiences. This unique team of believers were approved of God to support her vision of international missions work in Honduras and the various locations God has directed.
Godly intervention and associated opportunities marked the beginning of a life changing and long lasting love for mission work, a yearning to embrace believers of different cultures, and a vision that would bring together believers from diverse backgrounds that would lead to life-long friendships and a ministry connection. God in His wisdom and unbeknown to her, strategically positioned Sister Hill and the ministry team for the international ministry that He would soon reveal. After prayer and Godly consultation, she was able to clearly see the established path and purpose of God that her ministry was not confined to Honduras – but would transcend into other countries and cultures – building a bridge of faith, that would surpass the gap of division, and bring together God’s people as one body. Bridging the Gap Among Nations – is a ministry bridge calling all believers to unite and become one, and embrace the blessings of unity amidst diversity.
